Flow Through Fall: Slow Down, Integrate, and Prepare for Winter

There is a point in the year when continuing to push forward stops making sense.

Summer can bring movement, travel, work, relationships, social activity, new ideas, and a lot of outward energy. Eventually, though, the body starts asking for something different. You may notice that you are tired, more reflective, less interested in constantly producing, or simply ready to make sense of everything the year has brought up.

That is where Flow Through Fall comes in.

Flow Through Fall is an eight-session therapeutic yoga and wellness experience held over nine weeks. It is designed to help you slow down, integrate what this season has surfaced, and bring your personal growth into your relationships and everyday life.

The program combines Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Yin Yoga Therapy, breathwork, embodied inquiry, reflection, and community practice to create space for deeper awareness and integration.

Why Fall?

Fall is a season of transition. It is a natural time to take stock of what has happened, recognize what has changed, and decide what you actually want to carry forward.

A lot of personal growth work focuses on starting something new. Flow Through Fall focuses on integration. You may already have plenty of insight. You may already know some of your patterns and what you want to change. The harder part is often making that awareness stick.

Through Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and Yin Yoga Therapy, we slow down enough to notice what is happening in the body, explore what is underneath the surface, and create practices that help new awareness become something you can actually live.

When Your Growth Enters Relationship

Personal growth does not happen in isolation.

You can understand your patterns and still find yourself repeating them when someone gets close. You can know you need boundaries and still struggle to communicate them. You can do significant internal work and then discover that family, intimacy, friendship, partnership, or community brings something new to the surface.

Flow Through Fall creates space to explore that transition. We will look at how awareness shows up in connection, how the body responds to closeness, and how we can make more conscious choices in our relationships.

The goal is not perfect relationships. It is greater awareness of yourself and how you participate in the relationships around you.

What We Will Explore

Each session builds on the one before it, moving from recognition toward integration.

Clarifying Transitions: We begin by recognizing where you actually are right now. What has this season brought up? What patterns are asking for your attention? What needs to be acknowledged before you move forward?

Reflective Awareness: We deepen awareness of personal and relational dynamics through Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Yin Yoga Therapy, reflection, and embodied inquiry.

Releasing Stagnant Energy: Through Yin Yoga Therapy, breathwork, journaling, and somatic exploration, we explore what you may be carrying that no longer needs to come with you.

Honoring Relationships: We turn toward family, intimacy, connection, and relational patterns. Group reflection and dyad work allow us to explore what happens when our internal work meets other people.

Consolidation Practices: Insight becomes useful when we can apply it. We focus on taking what you have learned and developing practices that can exist in your everyday life.

November 1: Week Off: There is no live session this week. You will have space to continue your home practice, journaling, Yin Yoga Therapy, and reflection before we reconvene.

Embodying Insight: We look at how awareness can influence your choices, boundaries, communication, and relationships. This is where the work begins moving from something you understand into something you embody.

Integration Ritual: We create space to recognize what has changed and intentionally integrate the work you have done throughout the series.

Closing and Forward Projection: We reflect on your experience, identify what you want to carry forward, and prepare for the transition into winter.

From Awareness to Embodiment

Flow Through Fall uses Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and Yin Yoga Therapy as two complementary approaches.

Phoenix Rising provides a framework for exploring your experience through embodied awareness, inquiry, reflection, and relationship. Rather than telling you what your experience means, the practice creates space for you to discover what is present for you.

Yin Yoga Therapy gives us another way to work with the body. Slower, longer-held practices create an opportunity to become more aware of sensation, breath, resistance, comfort, discomfort, and the stories that can arise when we stop moving long enough to listen.

Together, these practices support the central work of Flow Through Fall: moving from simply understanding something to developing a felt relationship with it.

You do not have to be flexible, know yoga poses, or have an established yoga practice. The practices are adapted to the individual, and no previous yoga experience is required.

What You Can Actually Walk Away With

The goal is not simply to feel good for two hours on Sunday. The goal is to have something you can use when Sunday is over.

Through the series, you will have opportunities to develop greater awareness of your relational patterns, more capacity to slow down and reflect, practical tools for nervous system regulation, greater awareness of your boundaries and choices, and practices for releasing accumulated stress.

You will also have opportunities to strengthen the connection between your internal awareness and your everyday behavior, develop tools you can continue using throughout winter, and gain a clearer understanding of what you want to carry forward.

This is especially important if you tend to understand things intellectually but have difficulty getting that understanding into your body and daily life.

Knowing something is different from embodying it.

Flow Through Fall is about closing that gap.

Who Is This For?

Flow Through Fall may be a good fit if you are coming out of a high-energy summer and your nervous system needs to downshift. It may be for you if you want your personal growth to show up in your relationships instead of staying inside your own head.

It may be for you if you are ready to look honestly at family patterns, intimacy, boundaries, connection, and the roles you tend to take on around other people. It may be for you if you have collected plenty of insight and are ready to actually consolidate it.

And it may be for you if you know something needs to change but do not want another program that tells you to work harder.

No previous yoga experience is required.

Why Work With Me?

I am Osiris Booque, a C-IAYT yoga therapist and the creator of Flow Through Fall.

My work sits at the intersection of embodied awareness, personal transformation, relationships, and real life. I did not become a yoga therapist because I wanted to teach people how to stretch. I became one because I experienced what it is like to have to rebuild yourself, rethink your relationship with work and purpose, and figure out how to create a life that actually feels aligned.

My approach combines Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Yin Yoga Therapy, somatic awareness, breathwork, meditation, relational practices, and the wisdom of traditions that understand the body as an important part of how we process our lives.

My work is grounded in the belief that your body is not separate from your emotional life, your relationships, or the decisions you are trying to make.

I have facilitated work for organizations and communities including Google, Hulu, IKEA, Sony Music, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and UC Davis. My work with our Flow for Black Lives initiative was also recognized as a Top 5 Global Impact Project by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

But the credentials are only part of the story.

What matters to me is creating a space where you do not have to perform wellness. You can show up as you are. We can work with what is actually happening, and we can build from there.

What Participants Have Said

People who have worked with me have described the experience as deeply therapeutic, practical, and different from traditional yoga.

“It’s one of the most valuable therapeutic experiences I’ve had.”

“This isn’t your average yoga you find in the gym. This type of yoga slowly works with the body, mind, and spirit.”

“The tools Osiris blesses us with are vital to battling what we go through in everyday life and it’s needed.”

The common thread is not that everyone has the same experience. It is that people leave with something they can continue working with.

If you have been thinking about doing this work, this is a good time to make the decision. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. You do not need to know exactly what you want to work on. You just need enough curiosity to slow down and pay attention.

Flow Through Fall is a space to take what this year has taught you and actually integrate it before moving into the next season.
